Also, there are many ideal destinations across the country that attract a large number of foreign tourists at this time of the year. According to Agoda, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Hanoi, Phu Quoc island, and Da Lat are chosen by the tourists as must-visit spots when in Vietnam.

“When it comes to the region's largest number of tourists coming to Vietnam during the holidays, Korean tourists take the lead. It will be a busy Tet season for Vietnam's tourism industry," claimed Agoda.

Regional Director of Southeast Asia and North America of Red Savannah- Luxury travel company Melissa Matthews shared some interesting guidance on the American website Travel + Leisure for those who wants to experience the celebration of Lunar New Year in Vietnam.

The article said that commuting will be difficult for tourists due to increased traffic. Many businesses closed for a week or more to celebrate Tet so tourists should plan the schedule carefully. The holiday period usually falls at the end of January or early February, but in 2024, the first day of the Lunar New Year falls on February 10.

Melissa Matthews believed tourists should go to the beach during the holiday period for an unique experience. Regarding the service, tourists might be charged higher for extra fees during the holiday. They must also be aware of the lack of staff in peak season.
