Several destinations in Vietnam are hailed as as the best destination for scuba diving enthusiasts, VOV citied international travel website Traveldudes.

Besides Vietnam’s waters are home to an incredible variety of marine species. From tropical fish to sea turtles as well as dugongs and seahorses, you can even spot whales if you're lucky enough. Notably, the diving community here is warm, friendly and passionate, the travel website wrote.

Many travel agencies, dive centers and resorts also deployed scuba diving tours to the stone arch, offering visitors a chance to enjoy the stunning underwater beauty. They cater to divers' needs, even for those who are not experienced beginners. Guests will be equipped with with the necessary scuba gear, as well as a wetsuit and diving mask.

Traveldudes introduces four destionations in Vietnam suitable for scuba diving. These sites have a variety of dive centers and resorts that offer diving services of all levels.

Accordingly, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, and Con Dao are the best scuba diving spots in the country. From vibrant coral reefs to captivating marine life, each dive spot offers a unique experience.

The best time for diving in Con Dao is from March to September as water temperatures range from 27 to 30 degrees Celsius, providing the perfect conditions for underwater exploration.

Bay Canh Island, Hon Tai Island and Con Son Bay are among the best dive sites in the Con Dao Archipelago.

Another ideal place for scuba diving in Vietnam is Whale Island, a hidden gem near Nha Trang in the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa, which offers a serene diving experience away from the crowds.

Whale Island offers a tranquil retreat where divers can unwind and connect with nature. Moray Beach, Hon Tai and Hon Heo are good suggestions for scuba diving there, Traveldudes wrote.

Whales and whale sharks flock to the archipelago to feed on masses of krill and plankton between April and July so you can even have a chance to encounter them.

In 2020, Whale Island has been named among the ten must-dive destinations by US magazine Forbes.

The magazine said Whale Island, with an average water temperature that hovers around 28 degrees Celsius, is known for its macro gems hidden among the lush soft corals, which makes drift diving here that much more exciting.
