The combo includes a ration of “bun cha”, seafood “nem” and a bottle of Hanoi beer for 85.000 VND.

The restaurant owner explained, “Many people always ask for the same dish as President Obama, so we just make it clear to customers about the composition of the meals and prices”.

Going to the restaurant at 7 p.m, many people must be disappointed when being informed the restaurant was “sold out”. Nguyen Thi Hang Nga, the restaurant owner, said the situation of being “sold out” happens so frequently that the restaurant always has to close sooner than the set closing time of 9 p.m .

Besides the new menu, US President Obama’s images are also printed out, framed and hung up very solemnly throughout the restaurant.

Conner Hasse, a tourist form the US, said she loved “bun cha Hanoi” and had eaten it three times in her trip to Vietnam. She didn't think there was much difference between “Bun cha Huong Lien” and other restaurants. However, the story surrounding President Obama eating there made people curious.

It is very difficult to assess which place has the most delicious “bun cha” in Hanoi because each has its own different taste. However, it is undeniable that the visit of President Obama makes the “Bun cha Huong Lien” restaurant particularly attractive./.
