Toka Coffee Stand

Toka Coffee Stand has two locations, of which the branch on Dang Thai Than Street is located in an old French villa, known to many tourists. Though near the Hanoi Opera House, the cafe attracts "low-key" visitors due to its location in a secluded and tranquil residential area.

The shop boasts a small, charming space nestled within the plants of the villa’s courtyard and its faded moss-stained yellow wall below the old balcony and arches. This is an ideal place to unwind with friends, or for travelers to savor a coffee break.

Loading T Café

Loading T Cafe is located on the second floor of an old villa on Chan Cam Street. The coffee shop has been open for a long time. At first, the customers were mainly residents of the surrounding streets, but over time, it attracted domestic and foreign tourists.

The villa has been praised for its antique appearance. The old Hanoi home’s historic features have been retained; a French balcony, a traditional bougainvillea truss, and a flower-designed steel door.

Hanoi Neighbors

Just opened for about a year, Hanoi Neighbors is already a familiar meeting place for check-in enthusiasts in the capital city. Located in an old house on Tue Tinh Street, near Thong Nhat Park, the restaurant also preserves many architectural details of the old villa with wooden floors, stair railings, and balconies.

The restaurant's area is quite large, with various spaces such as indoors, attics, and gardens, of which the balcony area is the most popular. Visitors can watch the green almond leaves in the summer, turn red in the winter or the quiet, slow street corner and enjoy the warm late afternoon sunlight.

Address: 114 Tue Tinh Street, Hanoi.

DOT Café

As a cafe with a strong "Hanoi vibe," DOT cafe is located on the second floor of an old villa on Tran Quoc Toan Street, intersection with Lien Tri Street. This is another choice for “low-key” guests in Hanoi.

To get to DOT, visitors do not need to go through a small or tricky valley and need to go up the wooden stairs near the road to get there. Dot boasts vintage furniture, floral tiles, wooden doors, typical Vietnamese yellow walls, and large windows overlooking the tile roofs of other old buildings.

Ban Cong

Located at the intersection of Hang Bac and Dinh Liet, Ban Cong has long been a familiar name to domestic and foreign tourists in Hanoi.

Conveniently located near Ho Guom, in the middle of the capital city’s Old Quarter, the café’s spacious front yard is always colorfully decorated with flags and flowers. Ban Cong’s 100-year-old French villa retains its original yellow peeling walls, floral tiles, and wooden stairs.

Address: No. 2 Dinh Liet, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi.

Ela Café

Ela Cafe has left its old villa on 10 Khuc Hao Street relatively untouched. The design of this villa is unique among homes in the Old Quarter.
