The Central Highlands tourism city of Da Lat has been listed among Asia's top 9 nature destinations based on searches made on the digital travel platform Agoda.

According to Agoda’s report, Agoda compiled a list of some of Asia’s favored nature destinations across Asia, based on searches conducted on the platform this January 2024, and to mark the launch of Eco Deals 2024, Agoda’s US$1 million partnership with World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).

Situated on a plateau around 1,500 meters above sea level, Da Lat is surrounded by green pine forests with a year-round cool climate, making it an ideal hotspot to escape the heat.

From Ho Chi Minh City, take a short flight to Da Lat. The city offers a nature lover's paradise with cool weather, pine forests, and waterfalls. The place is ideal for hiking, lake activities like canyoning, and enjoying local gardens.

At some time of the year, Da Lat is shrouded in thick fog, attracting amateur and professional photographers to flock to the city to hunt for photos.

Besides Da Lat, the list also included Ooty in India, Lombok in Indonesia, Hakone in Japan, Miri in Malaysia, Siquijor Island in the Philippines, Jeongseon-gun in South Korea, Hualien in Taiwan and Khao Yai in Thailand.
