Discover Cultural Colors Through The 2024 Korean Literature Theater Contest
Following the success of the "Korean Literature Theater 2022" contest held in Ho Chi Minh City, this contest was held in Hanoi to bring Korean literature closer to students studying Korean at universities and help them learn more about literature, culture, and the Korean language.
The contest has the participation of groups of students from Hanoi University, Phenikaa University, Dai Nam University, University of Foreign Languages, and University of Social Sciences and Humanities, along with the delegates, distinguished guests, and lecturers from the Department of Korean Language and Culture.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Choi Seung Jin, Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam, expressed his gratitude to the delegates, lecturers, and students of the Korean language department, especially Thang Long University.
Seung Jin affirmed the importance of this contest. "Throughout history, Korea and Vietnam have had excellent literary works of value in each period. The contest was organized to introduce the unique features of Korean literature and an opportunity to help young people study the Korean language and culture.”
At the contest, 14 university teams recreated impressive skits of one of Korean literary works through a 15-minute drama.
Each team's competitions are judged based on four criteria: the chemistry of the team members, the message conveyed by the skit, the creativity, and the overall success of the performance.

Within the framework of the competition, teams competed with unique and creative skits in the works “Potatoes”, “One Lucky Day”, “Two Lives Of Tho Man”, and “Xuan Huong”, leaving quite the impression on the audience.
After discussion, the jury selected 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize, and 11 consolation prizes. Accordingly, the team from Hanoi University excellently won first prize in the contest. The second prize went to the Dai Nam University team, and the third prize belonged to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Hanoi National University.

The event ended and brought a lot of emotions to the audience. Through this contest, the Korean Cultural Center will continue to maintain and develop the program, contributing to bringing Vietnamese people closer to Korea.
