Dong Nai Friendship Union: Improve Operational Efficiency to Further Develop
The Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations needs to improve operational efficiency and develop an increasingly stronger organization, said Nguyen Hong Linh, Secretary of the Dong Nai Party Committee at its 10th anniversary of the union's establishment on December 23.

According to Linh, in recent years, the Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations and its member associations have promoted their role in people-to-people diplomacy, actively contributing to the general foreign affairs of the province.
The activities of the Provincial Friendship Union have contributed to creating a beautiful image of a friendly and hospitable Dong Nai in the hearts of international friends; promote and promote Dong Nai's economic and cultural exchanges and cooperation, attracting more and more resources for the province's development.
On November 15, 2013, Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations was officially established with 500 members. To date, the Provincial Friendship Union has 10 member associations with more than 11,000 members. Through the cohesion of the Union, 60 foreign non-governmental organizations, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) enterprises and foreign associations have committed to sponsoring about VND 600 billion (USD 24.7 million) to participate in improving and enhancing the quality of life for local people.
Linh requested the Executive Committee of the Provincial Friendship Union to focus on well implementing the political tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee. In particular, continue to improve operational efficiency in the new situation, deploy people-to-people diplomacy work to ensure the correct foreign policy and leadership of the Party.
At the same time, maintain and expand cooperative relationships, take advantage of and effectively use aid sources. Continuously build and develop the Provincial Friendship Union and its member associations to become increasingly stronger, promoting synergy in people-to-people foreign affairs activities in the coming time.

At the celebration, 12 individuals from the province received medals, and 13 individuals and groups received certificates of merit from the VUFO. 21 individuals and groups received certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee.
