"This is an opportunity for me to connect with Vietnamese friends from all over the world, to learn more about the culture and history of the nation. This helps us connect the young Vietnamese community abroad. This is my first time participating in the program so I'm nervous and excited," Gia Bao said.

Gia Bao also shared that in Singapore, he often participated in activities of the Vietnamese community. Well-organized activities help the Vietnamese community in Singapore become closer together. Although living in Singapore for 17 years, Gia Bao still regularly visits his homeland.

Sharing about the joy of participating in the program, Nguyen Khue An (16 years old, overseas Vietnamese in UK), said she was lucky to participate in Vietnam Summer Camp. Khue An is interested in language and culture.

"Previously, I have participated in many exchange and cultural exchange programs with many countries, learning new languages. However, there is nothing more wonderful than connecting with Vietnamese friends from all over the world," An said.

According to Khue An, the opportunity to participate in this summer camp is even more special when they get to explore the unique and rich culture of Vietnam from a direct perspective.

Many young Vietnamese people grew up in a country far from their homeland. Therefore, this trip from North to South is an opportunity to visit the homeland, practice the Vietnamese language, and consolidate understanding of Vietnamese history and culture.

Participating in Vietnam Summer Camp 2024, Luu An is not only happy to meet international friends, but also has the opportunity to learn deeply about the country's culture and history.

"Summer camp activities such as tours of historical sites as well as scenic spots in all regions of the homeland help me better understand the traditions and cultural values of the nation," An said.
