For March 20 to 28, the "Ky An Vietnam" painting exhibition will open at No. 6 Le Van Mien, Thao Dien Ward, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City.

It will host a collection of paintings introducing ancient architecture from all over the country by artist Nguyen Thanh Vu.

Painter Nguyen Thanh Vu (Artist name: Vu) was born in 1995, graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture and has a great passion for painting, especially oil painting.

Vu believes that painting is one of the most effective ways to reflect the true nature of the times.

Pursuing Post-Impressionism, Vu wishes to convey his vitality, enthusiasm as well as youth and peace through his works.

Since the inspiration is architecture, with a great love for the ancient architecture of the country, Vu wants to combine architecture and painting in this first exhibition to everyone to ancient architecture in Vietnam, showing the values ​​and beauty of ancient architecture.

He also wants to give people a window the lively, contemplative and emotional aspects of ancient architecture.

This is a chance to observe how art revives and honors the beauty of the past.

The artist presents his interpretation of Mexican culture to celebrate ancient values, sending a message to visitors:

The lifespan of architecture is a concept in the mind of the people. Architecture lets us know the miracle of our ancestors, and gives us the opportunity to find our own lost pieces.

Looking at the history of the Vietnamese people, Vietnamese architects have created much great architecture for the country and the region.

At the exhibition, you will find colorful paintings of the unique architecture of the ancient Man Viet ethnic group (whose descendants are later Vietnamese) in China, or Nguyen An's Forbidden City, along with religious architectural design across the nation.

It all lays the foundation for pride in the nation's architectural history.
