Experience the Magical Land of Lac Duong
The K'Ho ethnic group inhabits the territory of Lac Duong (Lam Dong), which resembles an elevated plain and is protected by the Lang Biang World Biosphere Reserve and Bidoup-Nui Ba National Park.
Recently, Lac Duong has become a tourist magnet, drawing in a large number of visitors because to its picturesque surroundings, refreshing climate, and welcoming locals.
If you go back there, you can appreciate the stunning natural surroundings, take in the indigenous people's legends-rich cultural environment, be astounded by the wine yeast, and play gongs by the fire under the dwellings.

In contrast to Da Lat, which is known by most travelers, Lac Duong tourism is still growing. Even though a lack of systematic planning distorts many distinctive features, Lac Duong nonetheless evokes strong emotions in tourists thanks to its pure, endowed environment.
With the strengths at hand, Lac Duong has steadily established itself as an excellent travel destination, even though it still has to "rely on" the Da Lat brand to provide a foundation for the roadmap to increase the level of local tourism.
Coming to Da Lat indicates that travelers are genuinely looking for a slow-paced environment in which to unwind and reenergize. It is just an experience and a revelation for Lac Duong. That experience is a journey for each individual to gain greater regard for nature, as well as to understand and preserve the good traditions of indigenous cultural values.

It is not difficult to prove that Lac Duong has many advantages in itself if one makes a straightforward comparison with tourist locations to explore nature and experience the cultural life of other well-known indigenous people in the country.
The majestic natural setting, which includes many well-known landmarks like the top of Bidoup mountain, which is known as the "Roof of the Central Highlands" and is located at an elevation of more than 2,000 meters above sea level; Lang Biang, which is Vietnam's ninth World Biosphere Reserve; and the Dan Kia-Suoi Vang tourist area have been given government approval for investment and exploitation.
Particularly, with up to 85% of the area covered by forest, a diversified system of rivers, lakes, waterfalls, and primeval conservation forests with a variety of rare and exotic plant and animal resources, this is truly a "asset". It is crucial that Lac Duong "awakens" and develops into a prime location for eco-tourism, environmental education, recuperation, and farming.

Not only that, but the area of Lac Duong is colored with typical cultural products and indigenous ethnic minority products that have been conserved and modified for many generations, such as the New rice festival, buffalo eating ceremony, traditional wedding ceremony... or traditional crafts like as winemaking, knitting, brocade weaving...
It is simple to determine whether Lac Duong's tourism potential will soon awaken and become a brand. Because the local government has always placed two fundamental concerns with human values, with resolutions throughout the terms, when deciding to develop tourism into a spearhead economic sector of the district in the future.
"In order to improve the lives of the poor, end hunger, and lessen it, tourism must provide the right conditions for their participation in the production of goods. At the same time, preserving the environment is a requirement for all investors," said Su Thanh Hoai, Chairman of the People's Committee for the Lac Duong District.

Following those sentiments, visitors to Lac Duong who wish to invest in the tourism industry always consider strategies to nurture and maintain the area.
"Every day, we deliver messages to visitors to safeguard the environment and maintain old cultural traditions. We have been inspired by the sympathies of many people, especially the youthful visitors. We make a significant effort every day and hour to maintain such positive developments," Cu Lan Village Tourist Area founder, Van Tuan Anh concurred.
The tourism and service sector in the Lac Duong district has grown recently in terms of network, bringing in customers, and revenue. The network of tourist facilities is growing; the material, technical, and infrastructure facilities are being improved; the variety and quality of the tourism products and services are both increasing, essentially satisfying the needs of domestic and international tourists for sightseeing and experience tourism.

The Lac Duong district's tourism environment is constantly being enhanced, and environmental sanitation and conditions of security and law and order are guaranteed in tourist sites. In the period between 2017 and 2020, Lac Duong district attracted more than 9 million visitors, of which nearly 5.8 million came through activities requiring ticket collection (of which about 80,000 were foreign tourists). The remaining visitors went to events like gong cultural exchanges and agricultural tours, which do not require ticket collection. Total revenue exceeded 395 billion dongs; average annual visitor growth was 11.4 percent, and average annual revenue growth was 13.7 percent.
The Lac Duong District People's Committee, Charm Group, and Tuoi Tre Newspaper collaborated to host a talk show and discussion about "The Potential of Lac Duong Land" on the afternoon of April 16 at the Tuoi Tre newspaper headquarters.
The initiative intends to link and grow the market in Ho Chi Minh City while also fostering business-friendly conditions by showcasing the district's advantages in the areas of agricultural production, tourism, and services. of the Lac Duong district to market regional goods beyond the province.
Additionally, the district seeks to highlight Lac Duong's investment potential, appeal for investment, and long-term plans in the areas of tourism, high-quality agriculture, etc.
