Covering an area of 1.7 hectares on the Cai Khe river islet in Ninh Kieu district, the hotel was built at a total cost of VND800 billion (USD37.3 million).
The 19-storey hotel has 309 superior guest rooms in line with five-star standards, a restaurant and four conference rooms with 1,200 seat capacity.
Muong Thanh Can Tho Hotel, the 30th of its kind in the country, will help increase the number of high-standard rooms in the locality.
There are now 180 hotels in Can Tho City, including four four-star hotels, seven three-star hotels and one five-star hotel, with the total guest rooms of 5,302./.
