First Vietnamese wedding in Mozambique
The first ever wedding of a young Vietnamese couple, Tran Xuan Nghia, Head of Business Strategy Department and Nguyen Thi Loan from the Administration Department of Movitel company, an investment project of Viettel Group has taken place in the East African country, Mozambique.
For the Vietnamese community in Mozambique, this was a particularly significant event, demonstrating the development of a growing Vietnamese community since Vietnam reopened its Embassy in 2009 and the Viettel Group invested in its mobile network in the East African country.
The wedding was co-organized by the Movitel company and the Vietnamese Embassy in Mozambique at the headquarters of Movitel company with the participation of the Embassy staff, staff of the company as well as their African colleagues.
"We have been in Mozambique for two years to date and love each other. There are sometimes difficulties, but overcome to have a happy day today. I am very happy and proud to say that I am happy and lucky," said bridegroom Tran Xuan Nghia.
Mozambican friends attending the wedding now understand more about the customs and culture of the Vietnamese community./.
