The event witnessed the participation of German Ambassador to Vietnam Guido Hildner, Vice Chairman of Central Vietnam - Germany Friendship Association Le Viet Thai, Vice Chairman of Union of Friendship Organizations of Vinh Phuc Province Nguyen Huy Quang, Acting Director of Foreign Affairs Department of Vinh Phuc Province Nguyen Viet Hung, Chairman of the Vietnam - Germany Friendship Association of Vinh Phuc province Nguyen Kim Nhan and other representatives.

Addressing at the event, Vice Chairman of Union of Friendship Organizations of Vinh Phuc Province Nguyen Huy Quang since the establishment in 1975, the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and German have flourished.

Vietnam - Germany Friendship Association of Vinh Phuc province was established in 2014. Annually, it holds meetings aiming to foster ties between the two countries.

For his part, German Ambassador to Vietnam Guido Hildner was so glad to visit Vinh Phuc province on this special occasion, adding that the relations between German and Vietnam have made important progress.

Ambassador Guido Hildner highly appreciated the role of the Vietnam-German Friendship Association in serving as a bridge to strengthen the ties between the two peoples. The Ambassador expressed his hope that Vietnam and German would step up cooperation especially in three fields namely vocational training, environmental protection, and renewable energy.

On the same day, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Vinh Phuc province Tran Van Vinh welcomed Ambassador Guido Hildner.

Tran Van Vinh stated the potentials and advantages of Vinh Phuc province as well as expressed his hope that Vietnam-German ties would thrive in the future.

Ambassador Guido Hildne highly spoke Vinh Phuc’s socio-economic development and successes in controlling COVID-19, affirming that he would make efforts to boost the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and German.
