During the 2 days of training, students interacted and were equipped with essential leadership skills such as organizing and coordinating meetings; planing and coordinating workload, improving time management skills; handling conflicts, promoting and motivating team members. In addition, the trainer also integrates common hypothetical situations for children to analyze, evaluate and find appropriate solutions.
Khuc Tam Nhu, a club member at Dai Phu Secondary School of Son Duong district, shared her experience when participating in the training course. She made many new friends from Hoa Binh province whom were all sociable and cheerful.
After 2 days of training, she learned a lot of useful information. The element to becoming a leader and global citizen that impressed her most is empathy and always being willing to understand each other.
Children Act for the Future (CAF) project will be implemented by GNI from May 2024 with the goal of providing comprehensive knowledge and skills so that the young generation can connect and integrate the ever-changing world. CAF creates conditions for children to transform into global citizens and practice implementing social projects to improve global issues locally and act for the future.
