Thanh Hoa Sends VND 375 Billion to Support Poor and Disadvantaged Households on Tet
	Vibrant Activities to Support Lao Students During Bunpimay Festival

Nguyen Van Thi, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, and Doseba Sinay, Country Director of World Vision International in Vietnam, along with their working delegation, visited various activities and projects underway in the Nhu Xuan Area Programme on April 11.

The delegation participated in an IMPACT Plus group meeting with students at Thuong Ninh Secondary School, toured the four classrooms at Thuong Ninh Primary School supported by World Vision, and learned about the Digitalization for Resilience project related to the Rain Gauge Station and Flood Warning System in Binh Luong commune. They also met with local households involved in honey production in the same area.

Doseba Sinay highly appreciated the effective coordination that helped the programs and projects to be implemented on schedule, in line with the development orientation of the localities. Through the support in emergency relief work after Typhoon Yagi, World Vision International helped affected households receive timely support to restore their lives. The support for opening a microfinance branch in Ba Thuoc district also helped low-income households access capital and contribute to promoting sustainable economic development.

“Currently, World Vision International is promoting the opening of a new regional program in Muong Lat district and organizing a survey of a new program in Nhu Xuan district. Therefore, in the coming time, World Vision International hopes to continue to receive the attention and support of Thanh Hoa province through guidance and support from the provincial to district and commune levels, so that regional programs, projects, and microfinance branches operate effectively, in line with local development priorities,” said Sinay.

Standing Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Thi commended the positive impact of foreign non-governmental aid programs and projects being implemented in the province. He noted that although these projects are on a small scale, they provide direct and meaningful support, enhancing the well-being and happiness of individuals and communities.
