A direct air route linking Guang Zhou to Cam Ranh is planned to launch on June 20^th with three flights a week.

The information was announced by a representative from China Southern Airlines at a recent meeting with Khanh Hoa Information and Tourism Promotion Centre and travel businesses in the province.

To celebrate the event, China Southern Airlines will apply a preferential price policy for flights from Cam Ranh to Guangzhou at USD39.

The opening of the route is expected to provide opportunities to persify tourist markets in Nha Trang because China Southern Airlines now connects to over 100 international flight routes, including North America, Europe and Australia.

At the meeting, the delegates also discussed flight times, the pricing to be applied to delegations; visa procedures and plans to take Famtrips of Guangzhou and Khanh Hoa to survey tourism in the two cities. In addition, they also suggested China Southern Airlines support Nha Trang tourism promotion in its publications./.
