According to the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association, the donated books were selected based on the specific needs of each school, focusing on materials useful for both students and teachers, such as reference books, textbooks, and language-learning resources.
In addition to books, the association also provided schools and shelters with educational supplies, essential items, and computers.
“In this donation, our school received 16 different titles with a total of 76 books. These are all essential reference books that support both teaching and learning. They were selected based on our school’s specific needs, making this donation especially meaningful,” said Principal of Duong Van Thi High School Thanh Truc, one of the recipient institutions.
Principal Truc also noted that after receiving the initial 16 book titles, the school would continue to receive additional books according to the list provided by the association.
