The Bollywood actress was also moved to hear MC Dai Nghia call on donors in Vietnam to raise VND 2 billion to help the people of India.

MC Dai Nghia, a celebrity in Vietnamese showbiz who is well-known for both of his talent and strong commitment to helping disadvantaged communities, stood out to call on everyone to join hands to donate to help poor people in India following the rapid resurgence of Covid-19 in the country.

After just a few days of calling, Dai Nghia's account received more than VND 2 billion (USD 86.800). All this money has been used to buy food and sent to the poor through a Buddhist charity organization.

The number of people infected with Covid-19 in India is currently over 23 million and the number of deaths is more than 250,000. The activitie of raising aid…has touched people inside and outside India.

Avika Gor, the famous actress of the “8 year old bride”, recently has opened up about the pandemic situation in India and thanked MC Dai Nghia and the people of Vietnam.

"It really is a noble gesture. The hearts of MC Dai Nghia and philanthropists have helped to express the core value of the spirit of mutual love between people and people, even if we have never met. I am very proud to have had the opportunity to speak to you and to know that you are also trying to do your part to change the current situation. Many Thanks!”, shared Avika Gor shared during an interview with the newspaper Hindustan Times.
