India’s third- largest corp plans to hire 8,000 workers in Vietnam

At the receiving, Vice President of HCL Technologies Group reported the outcome of the investmentplan in Vietnam including the open-plan office in Janauary, 2021 and the plan to develop a network of 8,000 employees over the next 4 years in the country. He also shared his ambition to make Vietnam the largest center of HCL in Southeast Asia, as well as having Vietnam's manforce deploy high-tech services for multinational enterprise.
Gupta also introduced a cooperation program in training high-quality ICT human resources with Vietnamese universities and colleges in order to train a source of professional manforce that meets the strict demands of recruitment.
He suggested that the Ministry of Information and Communications supports and creat favoravle conditions while investing in Vietnam.
The Vietnamese deputy minister believed that HCL will contribute to creating job opportunities in the digital field and an opportunity for Vietnamese employees to join the global supply chain.
HCL began its business operations in Vietnam in July, with a goal to hire more than 3,000 local university graduates and experienced professionals over the next three years. To kickstart its operations in the country, a Virtual Job Fair is being organised for college graduates and experienced professionals on December 19.
HCL has a turnover of about 9.7 billion USD / year and is a corporation with more than 40 years of history specializing in manufacturing software for 19 different service industries. Currently the group has 149,000 engineers working in 45 countries.
