The event offers visitors the opportunity to experience Malaysia's traditional culture and rich cuisine.
Accordingly, the “Beautiful Taste of Malaysia” Food Week will occur at the Hanoi Daewoo Hotel from September 12 to 16, Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel from September 6 to 16, and at Lesung Saigon restaurant (Malaysian restaurant) from September 11 to 16.

Famous dishes include Rendang (soft stewed beef or chicken), Satay (skewers made from chicken or lamb served with peanut sauce), Rojak (mixed salad), Chicken/Lamb Curry (chicken/lamb curry), Cendol (dessert made from shaved ice and green beans), and Char Kway Teow (stir-fried noodles with seafood or meat).
Each dish brings a unique flavor and tells a story about an extremely rich and diverse culinary background, a blend of Malaysian, Indian, and Chinese cuisine. Diners also have the opportunity to enjoy traditional Malaysian culture through dances from various ethnic groups performed by Malaysian dancers.
“Vietnam and Malaysia are not only two neighboring countries but also close friends with extensive cooperation in many fields, including tourism and culture. This Food Week is a clear demonstration of the friendship and cooperation between the two countries. We hope that through cultural exchange activities, the relationship between Vietnam and Malaysia will strengthen,” Firdauz Bin Othman, Consul General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City shared.
