On her letter of condolences, the President of the Cambodia -Vietnam Friendship Association Men Sam An expressed the admiration for Le Kha Phieu’s great contributions to the Vietnam’s Doi Moi (Renewal) and national liberation causes. The former Party’s Chief also played an important role in promoting friendship and cooperation between Cambodia and Vietnam.

Men Sam Ain stressed: "We will always remember the Excellency with his kindness, friendliness, love, and sympathy with the Cambodian people".

Chinese People's Association for Friendship and China- Vietnam Friendship Association also expressed their sympathy over the passing of the former Party General Secretary Le Kha Phieu.

The letter of condolences also affirmed that Comrade Le Kha Phieu was an outstanding leader of the Party and the State of Vietnam, and he led the Vietnamese people to achieve great achievements in the cause of renovation and promote the building of socialism. Comrade Le Kha Phieu was a close friend and comrade of the Communist Party and the people of China. He made excellent contributions to China-Vietnam relations under the motto “Friendly neighborliness, comprehensive cooperation, long-term stability, and looking forward to the future”.

Chinese People's Association for Friendship and China- Vietnam Friendship Association also showed their willingness to join the effort with Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations and Viet Nam - China Friendship Association to promote the spirit of friendship between Vietnam and China that Comrade Le Kha Phieu pursued, contributing people's strength to the relentless development of the comprehensive Vietnam-China strategic cooperation partnership.
