Part 2 of Taxi Driver is being discussed these days. After two episodes, the show kicked off with high ratings. Specifically, episodes 1 and 2 have rates of 12.1% and 10.3%, respectively.

The film tells about the life of Kim Do Ki (acted by Lee Je-hoon), who graduated from the Naval Academy. He used to be the captain of UDT - the elite special forces navy unit of the Korean army. After Do Ki's mother was murdered by a serial killer, he turned his life around and joined Rainbow Taxi.

In episode 1, the male lead Kim Do Gi (Lee Je Hoon) took on a very important task. He had to find a young man named Lee Dong Jae who was lured by a Korean scam group to Vietnam to work and then disappeared. He took over this assignment after Lee Dong Jae's father tried to get help from the local police to find his son in vain. He even nearly committed suicide out of despair. Famous landmarks in big cities of Vietnam such as Dragon Bridge in Da Nang, Notre Dame Cathedral, Ho Chi Minh City Post Office, Ha Long Bay, and Thuy Tien Lake Water Park (Hue) became these movie scenes and appear beautifully.

The shot of Choi Kyung Koo and Park Jin Eon wearing Vietnamese police uniforms and bravely helping Kim Do Gi break the siege became a hotly discussed topic on social media.

At the end of episode 2, the appearance of Vietnamese police closed the case with foreign elements.

When Lee Je Hoon and his crew went to Vietnam to film, the 39-year-old actor's schedule was kept secret and the producer had to ask fans to remove photos and clips about the movie to ensure security. In addition to Lee Je Hoon, "Taxi Driver 2" stars Kim Eui Sung, Pyo Ye Jin, Jang Hyuk Jin, Bae Yoo Ram, and Shin Ye Ha.
