The 7.8-magnitude earthquake on April 25th has killed and injured thousands of people.
The second major earthquake struck on May 12th, 76 kilometers east of the capital Kathmandu, just as Nepalis were beginning to recover from the previous earthquake.
Prime Minister, Sushil Koirala of Nepal told reporters on May 18th that 58 foreigners had died in the two earthquakes and that 112 foreigners remained unaccounted for.
Many countries have pledged money that will be necessary to rebuild homes, hospitals and historic buildings./.
