This is an activity within the "Mau hoa do" (Red Flowers) program held by the Communist Party of Vietnam's e-Newspaper to commemorate the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024) and the 94th traditional anniversary of Party's Propaganda and Education (August 1, 1930 - August 1, 2024) to express gratitude to the families of martyrs and wounded soldiers who have sacrificed their blood and bones in the cause of national liberation and reunification, as well as in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Vu Phuong Thanh, a representative of Tan Hiep Phat, along with Nguyen Cong Dung, Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Party of Vietnam's e-Newspaper, contributed funds to construct houses of gratitude for policy beneficiaries in the Tan Bien district of Tay Ninh.

Over the past 16 years, the "Mau hoa do" program has made a significant societal impact, especially with its gratitude activities for the annual War Invalids and Martyrs Day. A wide array of organizations, individuals, agencies, and businesses have offered material and spiritual support in collaboration with the program's Organizing Committee. They have participated in visits to provide support and have donated tens of thousands of savings books, nearly 600 gratitude houses, and numerous scholarships and gifts to the families of martyrs, war invalids, and those who have contributed outstanding services to the nation's revolution.

This year, as part of the 17th Program's series of activities, the Organizing Committee and sponsors have persisted in visiting and contributing funds to aid in building gratitude houses and providing gifts across various provinces and cities. Notably, Tan Hiep Phat has facilitated the construction of three gratitude houses: two in Quang Hoa district, Cao Bang province, and one in Tan Bien district, Tay Ninh province.

Huynh Thi Mai expressed her happiness when receiving support for building house from sponsors.

Overwhelmed with happiness, Huynh Thi Mai, an 80-year-old resident of Thanh Son Hamlet, Thanh Tay Commune, Tan Bien District (Tay Ninh), shared her excitement: "I arrived very early upon learning that the government was offering financial aid for house construction. The news filled me with so much joy that I lost sleep. Both my husband and I are war invalids. The house we built long ago is now in ruins; it leaks whenever it rains, making our life difficult. Our children, all married, facing their own struggles, are unable to assist us. My husband passed away before me, leaving me alone to take care of his altar. Moving in with my children would mean abandoning his memory, something I cannot do."

With a toothless smile on her always bright face, Nguyen Thi Liem, 79, from Thanh Trung Hamlet, Thanh Tay Commune, Tan Bien District, Tay Ninh, expressed her gratitude: "I am very happy to have a house with one bedroom and one living room; it's more than enough. The house I currently live in is made of wood, constructed in 1981. It has suffered termite damage over the years, and despite chemical treatments, there are still termites, posing a risk of collapse at any moment. I am grateful to the benefactors and thank Tan Hiep Phat company. I wish them good health and prosperity so they may continue to assist other families of war invalids and martyrs."

During the visit and the monetary donation for constructing gratitude houses, Vu Phuong Thanh, a representative from Tan Hiep Phat Company, stated: "Embodying the core value of responsibility towards the community and society, and expressing gratitude to the previous generations, Tan Hiep Phat Company is committed to aiding families in challenging situations to secure a stable life, and to providing care and support to heroic Vietnamese mothers and families that contributed to the revolution. This is our way of honoring the sacrifices of wounded and sick soldiers, as well as the heroic martyrs who fought for the nation's liberation and the defense of our homeland."

Earlier in July, via the "Mau hoa do" program, Tan Hiep Phat Company contributed VND 100 million towards the building of two gratitude houses in Quang Hoa district, Cao Bang province.

Guided by the motto of responsibility to community and society, Tan Hiep Phat Company has consistently engaged in meaningful programs that have had a broad scale and significant impact for the past 30 years.

Between 2016 and 2023, Tan Hiep Phat constructed over 30 steel cable-stayed and community bridges, valued at nearly VND 20 billion, to aid people in remote areas of Western provinces and cities. These bridges facilitate trade, economic development, and provide a safe daily route for students to attend school.

Between 2011 and 2018, Tan Hiep Phat has contributed thousands of cows to impoverished families, including support for barn construction and breeding as the cows mature. This initiative has aided numerous households in escaping poverty across various regions from the Red River Delta and the Northern mountains to the Central Highlands, the Central region, and the Mekong Delta.

Since 2016, Tan Hiep Phat has been consistently collaborating with government agencies to provide fresh water and equipment to convert saltwater into fresh water for communities in the Mekong Delta affected by drought and salinity.

Tan Hiep Phat places a special emphasis on children in its social service initiatives, offering programs that foster learning, nurture talent, and provide long-term support to ensure that students facing hardships can attend school.

Even though the Covid-19 pandemic has passed, its painful impact lingers. In an effort to alleviate this suffering, Tan Hiep Phat has engaged with Thanh Nien Newspaper's "Accompany Children in their Lives Ahead" initiative, committing to the adoption of 50 children orphaned by the pandemic until they reach the age of 18, with a contribution exceeding VND 13 billion.

Over the years, Tan Hiep Phat has consistently supported a number of charity homes in Binh Duong and Ho Chi Minh City. Each month, the company provides monetary donations and supplies of nutritious beverages to these homes, aiding in the care of thousands of disadvantaged children and young mothers.

Annually, during special occasions like Lunar New Year, Children's Day, and Mid-Autumn Festival, Tan Hiep Phat Company donates tens of thousands of gifts to underprivileged children throughout Vietnam, including ethnic minorities such as the J'rai and Khmer, bringing them joy and inspiring them to persevere. For over three decades, Tan Hiep Phat has been developing health-conscious beverage brands that embody Vietnamese identity, aiming for global recognition. Concurrently, the company has been dedicated to community service, helping to build the nation, enhancing societal wealth, and becoming a source of national pride.
