Nghe An's Delegation Attends European Overseas Vietnamese Business Forum
Recently, in Budapest, Hungary, a delegation of the central province of Nghe An led by Le Hong Vinh, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, permanent vice chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the 12th European Overseas Vietnamese Business Forum.
The forum was organized by the Union of Vietnamese Business Associations in Europe and the Overseas Vietnamese Business Association in Hungary.

Participating in the forum were representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the State Committee on Overseas Vietnamese Affairs (SCOVA), embassies and counselors of the Vietnam Trade Office in some European countries, and overseas Vietnamese businesses in Europe.
Speaking at the forum, Permanent Vice Chairman of Nghe An Province People's Committee Le Hong Vinh expressed his joy at participating in this very meaningful event. This is an opportunity for Nghe An province to present its potential and strengths in attracting investment and introduce typical products of Nghe An to Vietnamese overseas businesses and businesses from European countries.

Overviewing the province's potential, Vinh said, Nghe An has the largest natural area in the country. Additionally, it is the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh - an outstanding cultural celebrity and national liberation hero. The province is also a land with a tradition of studiousness, diligence, and creativity; as well as the economic and cultural center of the north-central region.
The average growth rate of Nghe An province in recent years has reached over 9% a year, in the group of 10 localities attracting the largest foreign investment capital in the country by 2022 and among 6 localities attracting the largest foreign investment capital in the country in the first 9 months of this year.
During the period, the province licensed eight new foreign-invested projects with a total registered value of USD 613.8 million.
