Nghe An and Ha Tinh Overseas Compatriots in Czech Republic Look Towards the Homeland

In Prague, on June 4, at Sapa Trade Center (Prague), the Association of people from Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces in the Czech Republic held the 3rd Congress, term 2023-2027, attracting a large number of people from Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces.
For more than 20 years of establishment and operation, the Association of people from Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces in the Czech Republic is the association with the largest number. They always unite, preserve and promote the good traditions of their homeland and integrate into the local society.
Attending the association's congress in the Czech Republic were leaders of the Vietnamese representative missions in the Czech Republic, the Union of Vietnamese in Europe, the Vietnamese Association, representatives of Vietnamese associations in the Czech Republic and other countries.
On behalf of the association's executive committee, Chairman Dinh Ngoc emphasized the significance and importance of the congress for maintaining activities in the association, as well as in promoting the traditions of the homeland in the Czech Republic.
The summary report of the congress also highlights the achievements of the association such as donating more than VND600 million (US$25,546) to support the two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh to help people affected by storms and floods, during the Covid-19 pandemic, assist compatriots evacuated from Ukraine.

Speaking at the congress, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Czech Republic Thai Xuan Dung appreciated the support of people from Nghe An and Ha Tinh. He believed that the association will continue to contribute more to the homeland, and the integration process of the Vietnamese in the Czech Republic.
The Vietnamese Association in Czech also appreciated the contributions of the Nghe An and Ha Tinh people and hoped that the they will accompany the Vietnamese Association in common activities of the community.
Promoting the tradition of studiousness of the homeland, at the congress, the executive committee awarded children in the association with excellent achievements in study, cultural and sports activities.
The congress elected the leadership for a new term, Dinh Ngoc continued to be re-elected as Chairman of the association.
The Association of people from Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces was established in the 2000s and has now become the largest association in the Czech Republic.
Over the years, the association always advocated promoting the traditions of the homeland, solidarity and mutual support. The generation of children of Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces also achieved excellent results in study and research.
