NGOs Donate Textbooks, Masks to 106 Disadvantaged Students in Hue

Thua Thien - Hue's Department of Foreign Affairs has coordinated with Phong My commune People's Committee to present 106 sets of textbooks (worth VND 28 million, equivalent to more than US $1.200) to students from grades 1 to 5 in Hoa My and Tan Tan primary schools on the occasion of the new school year. The donation was sponsored by US non-governmental organizations, ACWP and Operation Smile.
Besides, to help the schools better implement the 5K message, more than 2000 antibacterial and anti-droplet cloth masks were included in the gift.
In order to join hands with the school to seriously implement epidemic prevention measures and require 5K, especially the mandatory wearing of masks in public places, the Department has also presented more than 2,000 cloth masks to children. antibacterial, anti-droplet.
The gifts were given to disadvantaged students in the locality. Through the donation, Thua Thien - Hue's Department of Foreign Affairs and sponsors hopes to encourage the children to continue learning and remind them of self-protection amid the pandemic.
Previously, ACWP collaborated with the Hue's Department of Foreign Affairs and Nam Dong district People's Committee to send 15 female cows to needy households.
