Opportunities to Connect And Cooperate Between Vietnamese Associations Abroad

At the conference "Promoting resources of overseas Vietnamese, connecting localities and businesses" taking place on December 27 in Hai Phong, Vietnamese businesses, associations, and overseas Vietnamese signed eight Memoranda of Understanding on cooperation in various fields.

The Memoranda of Understanding include working minutes between Hai Phong Young Entrepreneurs Association and Vietnamese Association in the UK, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Vietnamese Association in Japan, the Vietnamese Association in the Kansai region of Japan and the Vietnamese Association in the UK, MoU between Thanh Hoa City Business Association and Vietnam Business Association in Laos, MoU between the Vietnamese Business Association in Laos (AVILA) and the Vietnam-Korea Business and Investment Association.

There are also Memorandum of Understanding between Ben Tre Provincial Business Association and Vietnam Business Association in Laos, MoU between Ben Tre Provincial Business Association and Vietnam-Korea Businessmen and Investment Association (VKBIA), MoU between Thanh Hoa City Business Association and VKBIA.

Speaking after the signing ceremony, Le Thi Thuong, vice president of the Vietnamese Association in the Kansai region of Japan, said the Memorandum of Understanding aims to strengthen solidarity between the Vietnamese community in Japan and the UK.

The two sides will provide information and needs for cooperation, access to support and cultural exchanges between overseas Vietnamese of the two countries.

Every year, they organize exchange activities between the two communities, creating the solidarity of Vietnamese people wherever they are.

The two sides built the Japan-UK Charity Fund with activities for children in highland areas, and organized exchange activities to connect intellectuals and businesses between the two countries.

Tran Hai Linh, head of the Vietnam-Korea Businessmen and Investment Association (VKBIA), said that after the signing, the association will provide information about the need for cooperation and access to capital of provincial businesses of Ben Tre, Thanh Hoa and Laos.

The Association will organize meetings and exchanges between provincial businesses and the VKBIA, bringing direct benefits to businesses and localities in the provinces according to the provisions of Vietnamese law.

VKBIA will provide and facilitate connection, financial support, investment, import and export with Korean partners for businesses in Ben Tre, Thanh Hoa and Laos provinces in many forms such as consulting, cooperation, joint venture, investment and credit.

This creates conditions for businesses to grow strongly in accordance with Vietnamese law.

At the conference, localities, associations, Vietnamese businesses, and overseas Vietnamese exchanged, connected, and cooperated.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang said that these Memorandums of Understanding will be an important basis for authorities to research and advise on the development of policies and laws, improve the investment and business environment, creating favorable conditions for overseas Vietnamese to contribute to the country's development.
