(VNF) - On April 21st, female players from U19 Phong Phu Ha Nam team trounced 2-1 their TKV rivals in the "last 63 minutes" of the last match of the National Cup 2016.

Earlier, the match was stopped on the evening of April 20th due to technical error of the lighting system in the 27th minute.

The two goals, in the 66th and 70th minute, were both scored by 17-year-old player Nguyen Thi Nu. While Nguyen Thi Van, 19, scored the only goal for TKV in the 90th minute.

Phong Phu Ha Nam team benefited from the weakened power of U19 Ho Chi Minh city team as it was formed by quite new and less experienced faces. Most of them were born in 1999 and 2000. The same story for Hanoi team.

In the final, Phong Phu Ha Nam of head coach Van Thi Thanh won 4/6 matches, drew one match, and lost one match (1-2 score) to TKV team (defending champions) in the first leg. It scored 12 goals with a +9 goal difference.

This is the third championships for U19 Phong Phu Ha Nam team. The last triumph was in 2014.

Besides, Phong Phu Ha Nam team also received inpidual titles, including the best player (Le Thi Cuc), the best goalie (Do Thi Hai Yen), and the top goal scorer (Le Thi Cuc, three goals).

Head coach of the national squad Mai Duc Chung has stressed that the almost 10 members of U19 Phong Phu Ha Nam team are his key players./.
