Themed "Unity in Diversity", India Fair aims to enhance mutual understanding and promote people-to-people exchanges between India and Vietnam. Together with that, it looks to strengthen bonds between the Indian community in Vietnam and the Vietnamese residents.

In his opening remarks, Indian Ambassador to Vietnam Sandeep Arya said India is diverse in terms of language, traditions, cuisine, costumes, music, arts, handicrafts, customs, festivals, and religions. The fair aims to introduce part of this diversity, thereby connecting the people of the two countries.

According to Phan Anh Son, President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations, the friendly relations and cooperation between Vietnam and India is a symbol of unity in diversity. The people of the two countries share common values of patriotism, humanistic traditions, and love of peace. He hopes similar activities will be held regularly and widely in many provinces and cities in Vietnam, thereby improving the understanding and awareness of the Vietnamese people about Indian culture, heritage, values, and traditions, as well as boosting the good friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

At the event, many diverse handicraft products, costumes, and jewelry from many localities in India were displayed. Attendees enjoyed music and unique dances performed by the Indian community and Vietnamese students at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center. At the food court, many dishes with typical Indian flavors such as chicken curry, roti, and masala tea were introduced to attendees.
