On September 20th, the Viet Tri City children’s fund in the northern province of Phu Tho worked with the Phu Tho General Hospital to give free healthcare and medicine to underprivileged children in Kim Duc commune.

Over 30 doctors and nurses provided check-ups in pediatrics, ear-nose and throat, heart and deep dental odonto-maxillo-facial check-úp for the children. In addition, medicine worth nearly VND30 million was also distributed to the children.

According to Dr. Le Cong Binh from the Phu Tho general hospital, each year, the hospital carries out a range of programs to give medical check-ups and medicine to poor communes to benefit beneficiaries’ families and poor ones./.
