Four Vietnamese Universities Feature Among Asia's Top 200

The latest edition of the QS World University Rankings: Asia 2025, released on November 6, ranked Duy Tan University in Da Nang 127th, while Vietnam National University—Hanoi and Vietnam National University—Ho Chi Minh City were placed 161st and 184th, respectively.
Ton Duc Thang University in Ho Chi Minh City came in the 199th position.
For this year’s ranking, 17 Vietnamese schools made it into the list, up two units compared to the previous ranking. The newly-ranked institutions were Ho Chi Minh City Open University and Vinh University.
Of them, Nguyen Tat Thanh University in Ho Chi Minh City, Hue University, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi University of Science and Technology were in the group of 300 to 500, while Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, and Da Nang University were listed in the group of 421 to 430.
Hanoi’s University of Transport and Communications came in the 481 to 490 group, Ho Chi Minh City’s Van Lang University was in the 491 to 500 group, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City was in the 501 to 520group, Can Tho University was in the 521 to 540 group, Ho Chi Minh City Open University was in the701 to 750 group, Hanoi National University of Education was in the 751 to 800 group, and Vinh University was in the 851 to 900 group.
This year, 984 institutions from 29 countries and territories were showcased.
China is now the most represented higher education system, with four universities named among the top 10. This was followed by Hong Kong (China) with three and Singapore with two.
Published annually since 2009, QS Asia University Rankings highlights the top universities in Asia each year using nine indicators, including academic reputation, citations per paper, employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, papers per faculty, the proportion of international faculty, the proportion of international students, the proportion of inbound exchange students, and proportion of outbound exchange students.

The University has enrolled 2,600 students in 5 Postgraduate and 16 Graduate courses, 70,000 in 23 Undergraduate & Associate Bachelor’s Degree programs, and 1,400 students in Vocational programs.
Ton Duc Thang University

Moreover, the TDTU has four other campuses, including one near Nha Trang Beach, one in Lam Dong Province, and one in Ca Mau Province. The university has approximately 26,000 students and 1,800 staff members with 16 faculties, 27 research groups, and 93 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs with a wide range of interdisciplinary research opportunities. In addition, the university has been focusing on research, high-quality training, and internationalization.

Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU) belongs to the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group. NTTU has a total of 100.000 m2 of ground floor area, over 3.000 computers, and modern education equipment. There is also a library within NTTU with about a hundred thousand titles of books. 100% of classrooms and laboratories are equipped with air conditioners and Wi-Fi connections provided. NTTU is also a home of 2.000 employees, lecturers with high degree in education, full of experience and enthusiastic. Moreover, NTTU also gathers 12 professors, 17 associate professors, over 80 doctors of science and doctors, and over 500 masters. Along with investing in facilities, NTTU also increases the quality of education in international and local integration by cooperating with over 140 universities and institutes of 20 developed countries in education.
