Prime Minister congratulates New Zealand counterpart over general election victory

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on October 17 sent a congratulatory message to his New Zealand counterpart Jacinda Ardern over the victory of the New Zealand Labour Party and PM Ardern herself in the general election held on the same day.
In his message, PM Phuc congratulated the victory of the Labor Party and Prime Minister Ardern, speaking highly of New Zealand’s achievements in socio-economic development and COVID-19 pandemic containment during PM Ardern’s last term, VGP reported.
Warmly congratulating the Labour Party and PM Ardern, Phuc praised the success of the Labour Party and Ardern in promoting socio-economic development and responding to crises and the COVID-19 in the last tenure. He expressed a belief that the New Zealand Government under the leadership of PM Ardern will continue to reap further achievements, said VNA..
He expressed his belief that, the Government of New Zealand win obtain greater achievements under the leadership of Prime Minister Ardern.

Phuc also affirmed his resolve to continue working closely with the Government of New Zealand and Prime Minister Ardern to further promote the Viet Nam-New Zealand Strategic Partnership in a robust manner in the future
The Vietnamese PM also affirmed that Vietnam will continue to work closely with the New Zealand Government and PM Ardern to further develop the bilateral strategic partnership in the time ahead.
