On September 25, Doan Ngoc Lam, permanent vice chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province, received Lehocz Gabor, Consul General of Hungary in Ho Chi Minh City, and the delegation during their visit and work in Quang Binh province.

At the reception, Doan Ngoc Lam introduced an overview of the province's natural conditions, socio-economic situation, potentials, and strengths, as well as the areas that the province is currently interested in attracting investment, such as tourism development, renewable energy, environmentally friendly manufacturing, and organic agriculture.
The Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh Province also expressed his hope that in the coming time, the Hungarian Government and Consul General Lehocz Gabor will continue to pay attention and support the province in connecting and expanding friendly relations and cooperation with Hungarian localities, introducing Hungarian organizations, enterprises, and investors to invest in Quang Binh.
At the same time, he hoped that Hungary would strengthen cooperation activities in tourism, culture, and education, including supporting Quang Binh province in introducing and promoting tourism to Hungarian tourists and granting scholarships to Quang Binh students in Hungary.
Lehocz Gabor, Hungarian consul general in Ho Chi Minh City, affirmed the long-standing friendly relations and cooperation between Vietnam and Hungary. As for Quang Binh province, Hungary and Quang Binh can cooperate in many fields, especially in rural development, and clean water management.
"The Hungarian Government is also interested in promoting the traditional relationship with Vietnam in the field of education and training, and will continue to grant full scholarships annually to Vietnamese students, interns, and researchers," said Lehocz Gabor.
