Five Beautiful Destinations For A Spring Travel In Vietnam
The weather in Vietnam changes from North to South and region to region. Influenced by the tropical monsoon climate, Vietnam has 4 distinct seasons in the North: spring, summer, autumn, and winter but 2 seasons in the South: dry season and rainy season. Each season has its features and characteristics, which bring you different experiences about places and landscapes.
Spring is a short season in Northern Vietnam that lasts from February to early April. The weather starts to rise, making it more pleasant and not too cold and dry like winter. Spring features a peaceful atmosphere, blue sky, bright sunshine, and warm breezes. However, it expects to have drizzling rains sometimes.

Long Bien Bridge is a reminder of French technological innovation at that time. Under the guidance of French experts, over 3,000 Vietnamese workers undertook the challenge of building the bridge, using up to 30,000 cubic meters of stones and metals, including 5600 tons of rolled steel, 137 tons of pig iron, 165 tons of iron, and seven tons of lead. The total cost of the bridge was up to 6,200,000 French francs at that time (roughly USD70 million today). The Long Bien Bridge construction period was originally planned to last 60 months, but it was completed 45 months later.
In its more than 100-year history, Long Bien Bridge was once the second longest bridge in the world (just after the Brooklyn Bridge spanning the East River in the US). It is even known as “the horizontal Eiffel Tower in Hanoi”.

After the liberation of Saigon and national reunification in 1975, Nha Rong (Dragon House) became a memorial site dedicated to the great Vietnamese leader.
