Quan Lan island, which is located in Bai Tu Long Bay, has a length of 11km2, stretching from the foot of Van Don Mountain to Got mountain with the giant, high rocky mountain walls on the West that protect the local villagers from the strong wind.
This place is famous for its pristine scenery, crystal clear water, sandy beach with the high she-oak. That's why the island is considered a pear in the Northern Gulf, and a well-known destination for many tourists to escape the summer heat.

Quan Lan temple is among the top-visited attractions in the region. It was built to be dedicated to the founding fathers of the village and Tran Khanh Du. The themes of the building are impressive with colorful images of phoenixes, dragons, flowers, and leaves in different styles. Coming here, you will have a chance to listen to a part of the island's history and meet some friendly people. On special occasions, the temple becomes more crowded with locals coming to show their respect to the ancestors and pray for good luck.

The best time to visit Quan Lan island is in the summer or autumn, which is an ideal opportunity for exploring and swimming in the cool water. The most beautiful months for visitors to come to see the island are from April to June or September.
