Summer Camp for Vietnamese Youths in Europe to be Held in August

Following the success of the Vietnam Youth and Student Festival in Europe for the first time in the Czech Republic in 2007, 2008, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. After two years of absence due to Covid-19, in 2022 the Vietnamese Youth Union in the Czech Republic once again hold Vietheart Summer Camp 2022 with a series of exciting and interesting activities.
Through the summer camp, the organizing board wants to create a useful, interesting and attractive playground, as well as a forum for Vietnamese students and youth in Europe to share experiences, thereby contributing to connecting and strengthening solidarity among overseas Vietnamese in general and in Europe in particular.

According to the Vietnam News Agency correspondent in the Czech Republic, the Standing Committee of the Union of Vietnamese Youth and Students Associations in Europe coordinated with the Association of Vietnamese Youth and Students in the Czech Republic to organize a summer camp for Vietnamese youth and students at Europe after a period of activities due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in the past two years.
The event will offer an opportunity for Vietnamese youths in 12 European countries to meet and share their living, studying and working experiences. It will also help Vietnamese young people integrate into their host country while maintaining their own traditional culture.
With the support of the Vietnamese Student Association, the Vietnamese Embassy in the Czech Republic, the Union of Vietnamese Associations in Europe, the Vietnamese Association in the Czech Republic, Vietheart 2022 Summer Camp is expected to take place from August 18-21 in Prague.

Nguyen Thi Dieu Linh, president of the Vietnam Youth Association in the Czech Republic and the Union of Vietnamese Youth and Students Associations in Europe emphasized that within the framework of the program there will be many activities such as a speech contest about the role of Vietnamese young intellectuals abroad, talent contest, sport events, music gala and scientific conference with the aim to enhance the roles and responsibilities of youth towards the homeland.
This will be the 8th Vietnamese Youth and Student Summer Camp was held in Europe with the goal of connecting, coordinating and creating a solidarity playground for Vietnamese youth and students in Europe.
The summer camp does not connect only intellect and technology, but opens guidance on scientific research, applications in life and further supports life skills with young Vietnamese and Vietnamese young people in Europe.
In addition, the summer camp is also an opportunity for representatives of young people and students from European countries to meet to exchange and discuss experiences as well as advantages and disadvantages in youth and student movement activities in different countries. countries, discuss at the same time about orientation activities in the coming time.
Therefore, summer camp will be a very meaningful and pervasive activity in gathering and connecting Vietnamese youth and students in Europe, creating conditions for the young Vietnamese generation in Europe to share their feelings and experiences in the process of studying here.
Vietheart Summer Camp 2015 and 2016 was organised at France and Germany respectively. The 2017 event was held in the Czech Republic.
