Vietnam Foodexpo 2023 opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City on November 22. Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai visited and gave a speech at the event.

To promote the country's food industry, the Vietnam Trade Office in India organized a delegation consisted of 30 Indian businesses to participate in Vietnam Foodexpo 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Vietnam has become the fifth nation in the world authorised by the European Union (EU) to export insect-based food to the demanding market.
