The Vietnam - India Friendship Association under the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) is sending ventilators to ease India's Covid-19 crisis.

The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations held the 2nd Conference of the Presidium of Friendship Union (Session VI) (2019-2024) on Friday's afternoon June 26 in Hanoi. Head of Commission for Foreign Relations Hoang Binh Quan said in the conference: "the Directive 38-CT / TW dated September 19, 2019 of the Secretariat on continuing to renovate, promote the role and improve its quality and effectiveness of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations in the new situation clearly states: The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations is closely organized, ensuring personnel, policies, funding and working conditions to all officials ".

The world finds itself today facing a real crisis with human lives lost every hour to a disease called COVID-19 caused by a virus named SARS-CoV2. Aware of mutual-help necessity to tackle the fast-spreading coronavirus pandemic, bilateral friendship associations under the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO) have shown solidarity with international friends in combating COVID-19.
