For the footwear industry, the UK is still one of the main export markets. Therefore, it is necessary to make better use of the currently implemented Vietnam-UK Free Trade Agreement (UKVFTA).

The Italy Trade Office in Vietnam, and the National Association of Italian Manufacturers of Footwear, Leather Goods, and Tanning Technologies (ASSOMAC) have collaborated to set up a display area for the leather and footwear business community from Italy.

Businesses in the leather and footwear industry await the ratification of the EVFTA to cash in on the enormous tax incentives coming with the landmark deal.
