The launch contributes to raising Vietnam's international position in trauma emergency training.

The first international trauma life support training center in Vietnam, is supported by the Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI) Program of the US Government.

The 26 year-old doctor Tran Thi Hai Anh became the first female in the medical force to join the air ambulance crew of Military Hospital 175, rescuing a fisherman from Song Tu Tay island (Spratly island district) to the mainland. Her unique experience was conveyed in a recent interview with the press.
