The Department of Seas and Islands (Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam) and the World Wide Fund for Nature Vietnam (WWF – Vietnam) recently coordinated the Annual Conference of the "Reducing Ocean Plastic Waste in Vietnam" project on December 16 in Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang Province.

Since September 2022, the program "Co To says no to plastic waste" encourages tourists, both locals and expats, not to bring plastic bags and plastic waste to the island.
