Improving nutrition and reducing hunger is a key priority for Ireland’s development cooperation policy and has been a feature of Irish support to Vietnam and the region over many years.

On March 14, Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Irish Embassy in Vietnam to organize activities in celebration of the 27th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Ireland (5/4/1996-5/4/2023) at the historical relic Hien Luong - Ben Hai twin bank.

Representatives of Quang Tri provincial authorities and other development organizations have celebrated St. Patrick’s Day, Ireland’s National Day, in a Greening Ceremony hosted by Irish Embassy in Vietnam for the first time in Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province on Thursday evening.

On March 11, a seminar was organized in Dong Ha City, Quang Tri to mark the milestone of 15 years of cooperation between the central province and Ireland, and 25th anniversary of the Vietnam-Ireland diplomatic relations (April 5, 1996 – 2021).
