On April 15, at Quan Su Pagoda in Hanoi, a memorandum of understanding signing ceremony took place between the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and the Samastha Lanka Sasanarakshaka Mandalaya of Sri Lanka. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka A.Saj U.Mendis.
