The Vietnamese Party and State always consider the Vietnamese community abroad an inseparable part and resource of the nation, and a friendship bridge between Vietnam and the world.

The activity is part of the programmes conducted by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to support overseas Vietnamese in preventing the COVID-19 pandemic.

Deputy Foreign Minister, Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs Dang Minh Khoi recently met with overseas Vietnamese (OVs) at the meeting held in Ho Chi Minh City on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year.
