The US spends nearly US $170 million in the new stimulus package approved by the National Assembly to assist Vietnam to overcome the consequences of the war.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has asked relevant agencies, associations and businesses to continue rolling out programmes aiming to boost domestic tourism in the closing months of this year.

Some experts have shared their views to the Straits Times that Vietnam has not completely exploit its potential in domestic tourism and bargain holidays can not last forever when the spend generated from international arrivals is still doubled domestic counterparts.
