China's drug authority has approved for clinical trials an inhaled COVID-19 vaccine co-developed by domestic firm CanSino Biologics, the company said in a filing on Tuesday.

A COVID-19 vaccine that has been developed by Australian scientists has been shown to be safe in phase 1 trials, and has generated a positive immune response in human subjects.
