According to Taste Atlas, Quang-style noodle is a signature dish closely associated with the people of Quang Nam. This is also a favorite dish of many people in Vietnam.

Diners can enjoy Quang-style noodles with various ingredients such as pork belly, chicken, shrimp, fish, boiled eggs, roasted peanuts, and fish crackers. It is commonly served with fresh herbs like basil, mustard greens, and lettuce, as well as rice crackers and peanuts.

Other dishes in the top 10 by Taste Atlas include meat and cold cuts, Southern Vietnamese beef noodle salad, Vietnamese shaking beef, sugar cane Shrimp, beef Pho, Vietnamese beef stew, Vietnamese fish sauce, Vietnamese fried spring Rolls, and Hue breakfast noodle soup.

In the Taste Atlas list of 100 delicious Vietnamese dishes, Cao Lau from Hoi An is ranked 49th.

Earlier, in March 2024, Taste Atlas also included Quang-Style Noodle in the top 100 best dishes in Southeast Asia.

Currently, Quang noodles are listed in the list of 12 Vietnamese dishes that are recognized for Asian culinary values. This is a dish that is both rustic and typical of the people of Quang Nam. The dish is rustic, authentic but rich and dear.

As with most Vietnamese dishes, Quang noodles also come with a variety of herbs, including basil, peanuts, coriander, lettuce, sliced banana flowers, and sesame rice crackers. There is no correct way to cook Mi Quang – it depends on your tastes and preferences.
