The Mysterious Mua Cave Charms Young People In Vietnam

Mua Cave lies at the foot of the Mua mountain, Ninh Binh. The Vietnamese name of Mua caves is “Hang Mua” (Hang in English means cave), which is located in Khe Ha Village, Ninh Xuan commune, Hoa Lu District, Ninh Binh Province, Vietnam. It is about 6 kilometers far from the city center and is a favorite Instagram check-in of young visitors. The attraction is tranquil and attractive since there are huge karst mountains, along with an impressive landscape. There are rock stairs leading up to the peak of the mountain, and give the tourists the most majestic views.

According to the legends, Mua Cave used to be visited by Tran King, and he enjoyed the beautiful performance of the young female dancers here, who served the Imperial. That was how the place got the name, in which “Mua” which means “dancing”.

Being well-known as “The Instagram check-in heaven of Northern Vietnam”, or “The Great Wall of Vietnam”, Mua Cave is a pleasant adventure for many tourists.

A lot of people call Mua Cave a dreamy fairyland of Hoa Lu's ancient capital complex because tourists can have a chance to climb 486 rock steps that were built like the ones of The Great Wall to get to the peak of Mua mountain.

On the top of the mountain with the large statue of Buddha, visitors are amazed by the majestic and gorgeous views of the landscape from above, which they can witness all the beauty of Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh.

Mua Cave is surrounded by the most fascinating sceneries such as the giant cactus garden, man-made waterfall, phoenix tree sprouting in the middle of a house, etc. Especially, the lotus lake is a beautiful spot that draws young visitors come to Ninh Binh. This is the biggest lotus lake, and the lotus blooms all year round. The highlight of the lake is a heart-shaped wooden path that allows people to move to the middle, and have a closer look at the lovely lotus.
