On the other side of the Boi River is a beautiful destination for camping called Thung Trau. This location is about 60 km from Hanoi and 50km from the center of Hoa Binh. Tourists will be amazed by the everlasting green field and herds of buffaloes leisurely grazing from a distance.

In the early morning, the rays of sunlight filtering through the ravine shine down on the green grass, creating a magical and impressive scene. The dry season from November to March is the best time for tourists to visit and camp here.

For camping enthusiasts, Trung Trau is a perfect destination for camping, with its wild, unique landscape, majestic limestone mountains surrounding the place, and dreamy space, making tourists feel like they are stepping into a fairytale land. People can freely camp in the valley without having to pay any fee. They only have to bring their camping gear, and food and spend time exploring Thung Trau.

The road to Thung Trau in Hoa Binh is not too difficult, and tourists can choose different means of transportation that suit them.

From the city center, tourists can drive through Thang Long - Hoa Lac Avenue, then turn to Ho Chinh Minh Street in Xuan Mai or follow the direction through Ha Dong - Chuc Son - Mieu Mon - Ho Chi Minh Street. Coming to My Hoa, tourists can ask local people for directions to the Boi River. To reach the campsite, they will have to cross the river.

Hoa Binh is a province in northern Vietnam, covering a natural area of about 4,600 square kilometers. It is situated at the gateway to the northwest region of Vietnam, approximately 76 kilometers from the capital city of Hanoi. Hoa Binh shares its eastern border with Hanoi, the northern border with Phu Tho Province, the western border with Son La and Thanh Hoa provinces, and the southeast border with Ha Nam and Ninh Binh provinces.

However, the summer and autumn months from May to September are the ideal time to explore the beauty of Hoa Binh. In Mai Chau, tourists can admire the ripe, golden rice fields. In Thung Nai, with its lush greenery and clear streams, visitors can participate in activities such as camping, long-distance hiking, and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP).

The famous dish is grilled fish on bamboo sticks over a charcoal stove. The firm, sweet, and fragrant fish, grilled over charcoal, is served with a distinctive dipping sauce and eaten with fresh vegetables.

Tourists can also try chicken with sour bamboo shoots. Natural bamboo shoots, harvested from the forest, are pickled until fermented and combined with tender and fragrant hill chicken, creating a delicious and appealing dish.

Buffalo meat with "lom" leaves is a specialty of the Muong people in Hoa Binh Vietnam, combining buffalo meat with the sour taste of "lom" leaves. Slowly simmered, it has a delightful aroma and an easy-to-eat flavor.
